Placenta Encapsulation ETHICS

Many new parents and parents-to-be ask about what is included in their placenta encapsulation packages and rightfully question the ethical and sustainability behind my brand. My offerings are bespoke and mindfully put together in alignment with my personal reverence for nature.

As you choose to include what services you want from your placenta, the contents are set, however my packaging is all recyclable or may be re-purposed. Your encapsulated placenta will be stored in a glass amber jar that may be reused. I also use a glass jar for the Mother's Broth, Placenta Tincture and Placenta Salve. The umbilical cord keepsake is placed in a paper envelope that may be recycled. You will receive your package in a brown Kraft paper gift bag that is made from recycled materials. All packaging is made local to Australia.

Along with your products, I include a Guidebook on your capsules and postpartum care, a referral card, business card and recently I have added a beautiful Welcome Earthside birth announcement card for your wee babe. All printed on recyclable material.

During the processing and preparing of your placenta, I personally choose to restrict the amount of disposable material. Some supplies, such as gloves, paper towels and aprons are unfortunately a necessary evil to prevent bacteria or blood contaminant transferring between clients.

Your investment is inclusive of pick up and drop off of your placenta to either home or hospital. I do not charge extra for travel distance.

I aim to reduce my footprint on this Earth as much as anyone and have implemented various ways to move in this direction. I am always learning and flowing. Let's all strive for a sustainable and ethical future.

If you have specific questions or concerns regarding any process of my services, please reach out to me. I am more than happy to answer!
